CWTES Read-A-Thon Fundraiser

We’re excited to announce our Fall Read-A-Thon from November 14–21! This fundraiser supports our school, student reading goals, Positive Behavior incentives, school beautification, and student/staff needs.
How It Works
- Students collect pledges for 10 days.
- Read-A-Thon Event: Friday, November 21 — students will read or be read to for 60 minutes during the school day.
Ways to Pledge
- Flat Donation – sponsor a student with any amount (e.g., $25).
- Per Minute – pledge per minute read. Find your student’s page and share with family & friends: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/chestertaylorastronauts
Awards & Incentives
- Participation prizes for all students with pledges
- Top class in each grade: $25 for classroom library
- Top student (Primary & Intermediate): Amazon gift card up to $50 + lunch with the Assistant Principal/Principal
- Golden Ticket Daily Draw: Every $50 in pledges = 1 ticket; daily prizes & smaller random incentives
Spirit Week (Dress-Up Days)
- Mon, Nov. 17: Wear red – “I’m RED-y to Read!”
- Tue, Nov. 18: Crazy socks – “We love crazy stories!”
- Wed, Nov. 19: Favorite hat – “Hats off to Reading!”
- Thu, Nov. 20: Sunglasses – “Reading helps our future shine!”
- Fri, Nov. 21: Shirt with words – Read-A-Thon Day!
